Jaipur: A pink city low floor bus suddenly caught fire near Tonk Gate Bridge in Jaipur, due to which an atmosphere of chaos was created for some time. The incident happened when many passengers were present in the bus and suddenly smoke started coming out from the engine of the bus. Seeing the situation, the driver immediately showed understanding and stopped the bus on the side of the road. Due to the alertness of the driver, all the passengers were taken out safely, due to which a major accident was averted.
The fire was quickly controlled and the safety of the passengers was ensured. There is no news of any casualty in the accident. The reason for the fire in the bus is not clear at the moment and investigation has been started. According to preliminary information, the fire may have occurred due to a technical fault or short circuit in the engine of the bus.
According to local people and passengers, many people were panicked after seeing smoke and fire in the bus, but the prompt action of the driver and the bus staff kept the situation under control. After evacuating all the passengers safely, the fire was extinguished and the damage to the bus was assessed. At present the bus has been stopped further and technical investigation has been ordered by the administration.
